From pot holes to uneven asfalt, unpredictable taxi drivers to Google Map dependent tourists, there is an understanding that bikers in NYC face numerous hurdles, which in most cases eliminate the chances of looking glamorous on that morning commute to work.
But the Stockholm based bicycle innovator BIKEID‘s gorgeous new look book proves those street stereotypes to be totally wrong. With their creative studio in SoHo, a feature at the MOMA, and a preview at fashion week, it made perfect sense for the bike brand to team up with NYC photographer Ruvan Wijesooriya for the shoot.
The images are a combination of staple New York backdrops, natural lighting, and the simplistic, fashionable bikes. They’ll make you want to grab a bike and hit the streets. Don’t forget the Swedish model.
