83 Countries Where It’s Illegal To Be Gay

Today India’s Supreme Court declared homosexual sex between two consenting individuals to be illegal. This overturned a landmark 2009 ruling against Section 377, a colonial-era law that banned people from engaging in “carnal acts against the order of nature.” It is now up to parliament, the court stated, to decide whether or not to keep the law.
