We recently asked our readers if they thought that a truly successful Friends With Benefits relationship was ever possible. Well, now the public has spoken:
The majority (43%) of you seem to feel that FWB could be possible in theory but if, and only if, you’re really really good communicators. Is drawing boundaries your bread and butter? Is talking about your feelings your calling in life? Then go for it.
32% disagreed, voting that, even if you’re able to calmly explain to a sexual partner that your own jealousy, though very real, is not their problem (or similar feats of clear expression) you still shouldn’t go anywhere near the emotional quicksand that is FWB. Ever.
The remaining 25% of you are free-wheeling flower children who believe you can put your bodies next to whoever you want to without repercussions. Right on!
