Women’s Viagra Will Lead to ‘Crazed Infidelity Binges’ & ‘Female Excesses’ (Says Science)

eveLybrido (ha, good name, guys) is a female libido booster that scientists are now concerned might be “too effective.”

According to journalist Daniel Bergner, who profiled the drug in the NYTimes earlier this week:

“More than one adviser to the industry told me that companies worried about the prospect that their study results would be too strong, that the F.D.A. would reject an application out of concern that a chemical would lead to female excesses, crazed binges of infidelity, societal splintering,”

In fact, drug companies are planning on tempering the potency of the new drug, lest women become  nymphomaniacs. Because, in 2013, Frankenstein’s monster is, apparently, a sexually aggressive woman.

Oh, the horror! The horror of a lustful woman! Society would fall apart! Angry villagers would take to the streets with their pitchforks! No, better to keep women’s libidos at a milder, more malleable level. We have enough societal splintering as it is — wouldn’t want to add female orgasms to the mix.
